Re: FRIENDLY RIDE - CORNWALL 19th April 2009

1. What constitutes a "comedy" tank range :? I can generally just get to three figures before flashy light, with another 12-20 before transitioning from flashy to pushy  2. Seb - were you out on the bike today (Sunday 5th) :? If so, did we see you heading out of Plymouth in the Mod...

Re: What is a real biker

Personally, if you asked me what a real biker is I wouldn't have the answer, but I know what a real biker isn't. Different people get different uses out of their bikes, some use them as cheap transport, some own them purely as toys, some make a living off the back of them and I suspect most would f...

Re: Parking in Plymouth

Bike parking is looking pretty grim here if you ask me. With the west end pavement being redone, it doesn't look like the current bike bays on cornwall street are going back in and I'd imagine that the parking on new george street will be car bays as well, if that pavement goes out out of bounds the...

Re: Hard hitting message.

That Think! scheme put out a fairly good advert a while back... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXI8-_9FrB4 Kind of lost respect for it when they plastered the torpoint twisties with those 'Can you stop?!' signs whilst the road surface was ruined by the works. 'Actually no guv, I can't stop because o...

Deej, getting stuff done at SP

Probably a bit cheeky asking you on here but are you guys willing to take on jobs where I supply the parts as well? I'm hoping to scavenge fleabay for bits to sort my Futura's cosmetics out properly in time for spring, but some of it's going to involve stuff I don't have the tools, space or time for.

Re: Thoroughly disappointed with a CBR600RR

My old Kwak didn't pull properly till 8000rpm, it's not so much the fault of the bike, just the way it's set up clashing with your riding style. Get a test ride on a 749s, one of the sporty Rotax Aprilias (Millie/Falco/Tuono, any will do for an idea) and a TL1000R imho, that'll give you a good sprea...
