My post looks a bit stange now Layne, I think we had a nuisance guest here selling shirts - I was taking the mick and see he's now been removed

Brilliant pdf. Still don't think I am confident enough to do it myself yet. Luckily my Dad is a great bike enthusiast so he tends to help me quite often!

Is this guide still available as I'm thinking about changing my bars for a set of renthals and when I try to download this guide it shows as 'Not Found'?

If the bike in question is the Rex in your avatar, if you go for standard size (diameter) Renthalls, I would anticipate it should be pretty much a straight swap. Maybe a little cable rerouting.
If you wish to fit Fatbars, then you can get adapters that fit into the standard bar cups, or depending on how the standard cups mount to the yoke, Renthall also make clamps/cups to suit.
It shouldn't be too horrendous a job in the overall scheme of things
