You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Leaving bridge Motorcycles in Exeter at 6am. Out for a couple of hours, nice easy route, steady pace.

Nice roads to start with, Little break for a coffee then sit in traffic for nearly 2 hours to get home - I hate cars, buses, MPVs,old drivers, satnav followers, bimblers etc etc etc.

What Honda were you getting?

I'd have loved to go out early this morning (or yesterday) but I'm just not a morning person.

Yesterday, due a to sudden change of plans, my other halfs car got left in Okehampton. So about 4'ish I set off with her on the back (Vstrom) and we had a nice ride across Dartmoor beforehand.
Stopped for a shandy and to take in the views. Lots of cruiser type bikes around on the moor.

Not many cars on the roads, I suppose they were all at the coastal tourist spots.

I love that little 650 (well not so little in the flash).
Light and flickable when moving, can have a lot of fun in the twisties without having to go at sport bike speeds.
Not the quickest bike on the road but she gets the job done.
I'd love it if Suzuki made an 800 Vstrom..., but they never will.
1190 Adventure S, 990 Superduke, DRZ-400E - all the bases covered.
