Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

ride sunday 16th July

Post by Kata »

Thinking about a ride to Lynmouth via Exmoor this Sunday. Stop off at Lynmouth for cake or chips then back though a different route in Exmoor.

Starting 9 in Taunton.

Anyone interested?

If its peeing down then its cancelled unless someone is willing to wash my bike.

Cheers

Just did that this morning as part of a camping trip loop around Devon & Cornwall..

We met at Tivvy McD's for 8:30, pushed off from there at about 9.00
During our ride across Exmouth the weather changed and the rain started, by Lynmouth those with waterproofs put them on... at Barnstable we had a conflab and agreed to call it a day.. so I rode home slightly wet.. :(
Bike now looks a state...
Gear is drying...

WTF is it with our weather and our POS forecasters...

Anyway, would have loved to have joined you but once bitten.... :-s

Ok.

Tyres would have be fine though. The roads would have been nice and clean due to the recent rain.

Dont think anyone else wanted to go so ill make my own way.

Cheers
