Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Cobweb ride, Sunday March 25th 2018 - route posted- NEW DATE

Post by billinom8s »

This of course may be postponed if we are flooded out, under feet of snow or another hurricane is ripping roofs off and flipping cars.

This is our first big run of the year, a chance to get the bike out, clear off the cobwebs and come out for a bimble. It's also an opportunity for to get your biking brain out of hibernation and blow the cobwebs off.

The ride will be run as a friendly so that we can all cope with being out again and not have to get out of any comfort zones.
For those not familiar with our friendlies, follow the link in the red box at the top of this thread.

Route still to be formulated but it'll be a nice easy one with rest stops picked for food, splash zones and fuel.

Non members of swb are of course welcome.

Backup date for this is Sunday March 18th.

My Mum has already booked a trip over from Spain to come and visit me and the family this weekend so not allowed out to play :? I will pray for rain and for it to be moved on one weekend as my birthday on the 11th

I purposely didn't choose the 11th as that's mothers day and you always cry off on that one too.

That’s forward planning hadn’t realised that

Yup your right would have to cry off that one too as Mother’s Day means have to kiss the wife’s feet for the day...... again.

Call me old fashioned but I don't kiss my wife's feet. As long as I kiss her where she likes I'll be able to come out to play
old and disgraceful so doing what I can while I can before I can't

All this kissing business reminds me of a very old Les Dawson one-liner - "I take my wife everywhere, it saves me having to kiss her goodbye" :D
