Post by BlackXJR »

Does anyone know of any good bike events happening on 6th and 7th May, I know about the Despatch Run in New Milton but that's a bit far, anything nearer?

Not that I know of.

I'll be in Spain on track, that's a pretty good fun biking thing but it's a bit further away than New Milton.

Charity ride for prostate cancer.

Sunday 7th May 2017. Assembling between 09.00 - 11.00
Where:
Glastonbury FC, Abbey Moor Stadium, Glastonbury BA6 9LA

We aim to leave the football club at 11.00 am and ride a route of around 80 miles, which takes in The Quantocks and Exmoor National Park, before concluding at Bridge Motorcyclles in Exeter.

Tea & Coffee will be available at the start (09.00 - 11.00) and refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the ride, at Bridge Motorcycles Cafe 53.

About the charity:
In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Older men, men with a family history of prostate cancer and Black men are more at risk.
