A new venture...... CBC Motorcycles

Post by scooby601 »

The time has come to set up shop, quite literally!

I've managed to find workspace in Wellington so will be making the move from just making fibreglass bodywork to offering bike servicing, dyno tuning and full prep of any kind. I'll be offering not only value for money but a service that I'll stand behind and back up!

So, all I need from the lovely folk of SWB is many bookings for work :ymhug:

Chris.

Give us a full address and postcode when you've set up Mr Scoob and I'll look in on you. You might be the man to tidy up the scuffs and road rashes on my old Futura.
From the map page on the weblink it looks like you're gonna be in Greenham Business Park, just off the A38 near the top of White Ball Hill, correct?
Good luck with the move and the new business.

Address is unit 6 Lobsgrove park, next to Greenham I believe.

There not much that can't be undertaken to be honest!

Servicing, interim and major.
Dyno tuning, power commander/bazzaz/woolich/jet kits. Can also supply and fit these as well as just optimising them.
Tyre fitting, along with supplying scrubs as and when they are in.
Any sort of bike prep, MOT/track/race/pre or post winter work. Not completing the MOT's though.
Aftermarket body work, if not made by me then sourced and fitted.
Engine work, there is a engine clean room in progress. What I can't do, Neil can!
Suspension, have an ohlins tech parts can be sent to when he's in the country and there is a fella trained by k-tech I'm hoping to use too..........

Anything else people may want? Paint etc not on the agenda but again I'm sure we can find people near by.

I’m seeing Chris on Friday.... I know he has moved premises to Plymouth now as he has recently done gearbox work for me along with other jobs too.
So I will ask him to update his post 👍👍

Chris has just finished a load of work for me and Doris has finally come home :-bd :-bd :-bd

Chris has replaced the gear box and fitted a full sigma slipper clutch, which envolved removing the whole engine and striping the bottom end.

Full effect of the slipper clutch will be found out at pembrey in a few weeks
