Under leather base layer

Post by menzies3032 »

Hi all

Just got a new one piece set of leather.

Can anybody recommend best place to get some cheap one piece base layer as think the new suit might stick to me with a bit of Spanish track action.

Recommendations please.

We just popped into the local sports direct,
Picked up some compression Base layers and used them.

Yes you can got for the full onesie under suit but the top and bottom's work well as separates also.

Like Ruffian said, try Sports Direct/JJ Sports type shops - Campri base layer long sleeve tops, often 2 for a tenner.

Lidl sometimes do their own but no cheaper than the above.

I've got a LIDL's set and they're pretty good, as is most of the gear LIDL & ALDI sell.

Yup, regular sports or "outdoors" shops have to be the way to go, try anything bike-specific and you'll end up paying several times the amount for something that's no different really. I use a ProSkins Onesie and it works a treat for getting leathers on and off - best get something with a "slidey" material and size it so it's a snug fit, you won't want any folds of surplus material bunching up

Thank you all

I will nip into Sports Direct then. I had seen that they do the tops and bottoms but expected that this would not work as well but if this does the job then will go get some :ymhug:

Thank you......

When in Portugal and Spain I didn't find that my legs were the issue anyways, was more the top half as thas what is doing more of the work,

Don't worry about multiples either as can wash in the sink and usually be bone dry by the morning also.

Not cheap, but I always use silk top and long-johns, from Patra. https://www.patra.com/Category/Mens" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Unless the paramedics cut them off, they seem to last almost for ever. They keep me cool in summer and warm in winter. And wash out and dry really quickly.
