Can't post pic's.

Postby Robbo87 » Sep 28th, '17, 17:22

In common with some others on here, I too can't post pic's using the 'Upload attachment' tag at the bottom of a 'New Topic' page.
Here's what I get when I try uploading a .jpg attachment - 'Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.'
Is this due, or partly due, to the 'Never-ending pic' thingy? There's an awfull lot of them - as a complete pc numpty this is only my guess of course.
If I'm correct, then can can an Admin' or Mod' type person think about deleting some of the early stuff and freeing up some space please?

Nope the uploads will not work even when the never ending picture thread is removed completely, all those pictures are just linked not uploaded , I have tried to upload pics when the never ending thread is removed and get the same result

see this thread for the way to post your pics viewtopic.php?f=44&t=98391&p=273943&hilit=upload#p273943

A) Site will NOT accept images from computers, 'phones etc.

B) Need to upload to a web host, then reference OR copy / paste image location from something already on a website.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

I have tried to get hold of the tech support. Will try again.
There are instructions in the gallery section on how to post from another hosting site, plus they resize them for you.

O.k. I'll take a closer look using the info' supplied (ta chaps); but it's all starting to look a little heavy duty for this particular septuagenarian.

Don't bother with the attachment tab or the insert image icon.
Load the pics onto a hosting site. I use Imgur: https://imgur.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Click on it, copy the URL and paste it straight into the text on your post on SBW
