I watched Moto3 afterwards ( motoGP online has it available to re watch very quickly after the race finishes, unlike BT Sport ) that was edge of the seat stuff too :D . Won't spoil that either, but sufffice to say I was shouting at the laptop :D :D !

Twas a goody.

I had a pigeon appear 'out of nowhere' on an upward 45° locus on a multi-level flyover. Hit me in the side of the head having come through some railings.
Also been hit by a wind fall apple and watched a squirrel run through my front wheel on an tight slip road.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

yep, i too watched it live, some rather dull commentary but other than that it was racing is all about. talk about diving up the inside and not being put off by reputation.

if this is what the new breed of racers are going to be like then MOTOGP has a bright future

Best start and best end to a race. It would be too much to expect the middle to be at that level as well because they'd kill themselves from exhaustion.

Some good action in BSB as well but with nothing depending on the result apart from pride.
