Hi from Clevedon

Post by Eire_biker »

Hi everybody..
I've just joined this evening having heard about the site from a friend at work. I've not been biking long... (passed my test in November after a direct access course) though I've just collected my new GSXR 1000R. It's my second GSXR 1000 since November... and although I know many will frown on my bike decision, I'm no fool and under no illusion on my ability.
Was hoping there might be people local ish.... Taunton to Bristol who might ride at a "sensible pace" and just enjoy the art of biking.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Cheers.

Gixxer, loverly choice - ignore the yamakuziondaumph riders who say you'll soon be through a hedge on a Suzuki
A few of the gang are oop north near you. If you think of venturing a little southwards Exmoor is my playground.

Hi dee hi. Have a brother in Clevedon and used to use Clevedon Motorcycles 'til they move out of town.
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

No, just moved from the town centre out to an industrial estate near Asda. Tweed Road.

Nowt to do there, nowhere to go, so I go elsewhere now.

Nice to hear from you all... I don't mind venturing out of clevedon.. I work down in yeovil so I've a decent trek most days. I ride to work if the weather is kind.. I know the old premises of the bike shop. On the corner.. A friend told me where you'd moved to a couple of weeks ago. Not far away.

Welcome to the forum and give me a wave if you see my wife and I on our F650 first week in August as we will be in Clevedon off and on for that week (hoping the weather will allow a couplke of days through south Wales).

Lol. Nope not me. Sold my CB. Should update the pic i guess.

Don't often ride to work. I go from Taunton to Clevedon so its a bit boring or highly illegal motorway riding. Crikey you do Clevedon to Yeovil. I though i had a long commute. How long does it take?

Do you ride or drive to work? I'll look out for you and do my own bit of stalking... :-)
