Got a 'Tard?
Just interested to see if many people here have off-roaders/supermotos for the winter.
Febuary is expected to hold the worst/coldest weather we have ever had.
I've still got my old gsx550 and I'm thinking about changing it for a off-roadie.
I'm interested to see if there are many people go down this route. (having a mx bike (or water) for the shite weather.

i've got a DR350 and its great for messing around on, doesnt matter if it's dropped as it wont harm it at all!, and very stable, ie i can feel the whels slipping about some times but i still feel in control,
only down side in low/no wind protection

i hate to be anal but the bit where it says crosser that road legal, there not crossers there trail bikes, sounds stupid and petty but trail riders who are respectful of the country side don like to be called crossers, as crossers are the yobs who tear up the lanes and dont give a dam, sorry for that rant but its just a hot issue amoung trail riders
i ahte to be anal, but no it dont. crosser or trials, or even eduro mate. all the same. like sum people call trainers trainers or trainers plimsoles. same differance fella. dont me to soud rude or anyhting. but wehter u say crosser od trails. i still think off road and ripping up mud. u may find someone who calls themself a crosser. and is respectful to the contryside as are you.andy198712 wrote:i hate to be anal but the bit where it says crosser that road legal, there not crossers there trail bikes, sounds stupid and petty but trail riders who are respectful of the country side don like to be called crossers, as crossers are the yobs who tear up the lanes and dont give a dam, sorry for that rant but its just a hot issue amoung trail riders

I always thought that a motorcross bike was the ones for racing off road on mud and stuff, a trials bike is thoes light small things that go up and down the sides of mountins jumping off rocks and stuff, and an enduro is the sort of thing you'd use in a desert like what McGreggor and Bordman used. Oh and a supermoto is a crosser with smaller rims and road tyre and a few other different things.
I know I'm right about the trials bikes.
Accutly [censored] it. I'm right

well crossers have shorter service intervals and make more power but highier up the RPM range, and enduro bike is more civalised and longer service interval and usaly sold with road gear on them, and yh trials bikes are the banana ones that climb anything.
