Popped my cherry today

Post by freeze »

Had my first off, (funky!!!) this morning, trying to take a right hand corner too fast, decided to do a bit of farming!!!thx to all the guys for hanging around, AA picked me up about 15 mins after you left. Just back from casualty, managed to get away with a sprained wrist. splinted for now hopefully not too long before pain disappears.
As for my bike    , radiator shagged, scrapes on fairing nose cone, gear lever broken and can dented. trawling ebay at the moment. If anyone knows where i can pick up a radiator from I would be grateful. Will upload the photos as soon as.

Being right behind you, it was a little funny to watch, sort of :) You kinda hit the bank, went up it, the bike stopped and you just went up in the air. Camera was not rolling aswell :( would had been some interesting footage. You were riding really well upto then and didnt look out of your comfort zone, only takes a little lapse of concentration/panic and thats enough, happens to everyone.

I didnt have the best ride today either, utter lack of confidence in anything concerning grip on dirty bumpy roads are not the best combination. Kept on feeling the rear move around and it was putting me off even more. I was fine on the clean flowing stuff, just hated the tight dirty parts. Just been out for another 40 miles on more familiar roads to try to put my mind at rest, couple of kneedowns later I am feeling a little better.

Glad you are ok mate ! Was rather worried when i came round the corner and saw the car stopped in the road  - was pleased, no relieved, when i saw you in the grass verge and no-one else involved

The bike can be fixed
