Have to say that for the best part of the ride, Sundays route was a cracker. Col chose a great route from newton to GT and the blast from Plymouth to Torrington was a delight. Thanks Scotty.....high viz jacket next time and thanks to all the new faces that made the ride so memorable.
It ended quite abruptly with Payners and Richards off. It was a huge relief to see Andy moving after the impact although he was pretty busted up. Richard was 'walking wounded' and largely ignored by all, you had to feel for him, but he is recovering as well. The rescue services were on the scene suprisingly quickly and did a fantastic job.
Get well soon Andy, Rich.........until next time.

Excuse me courtesy of Funky it was me that you let you have the Ibuprofen Gel that Funky brought for meSixth Gear wrote:Sorry to hear about your bump Payner. My knee and wrist still aren't good enough that I've felt up to stripping my bent bike after my off at Llandow. Luckily for me the only thing I hit was the tarmac not a car. I used plenty of Ibuprofen Gel (courtesy of Funky) and I think that helps. Get well soon.

You're right Kelly, begging your pardon, thank you very much also, it was appreciated, and I'm sure aided in my recovery, although you probably could've done with some for Gav? I hope he's not feeling sore after Cadwell. Thanks for distributing the Llandow photos as well.Dynasangel wrote:Excuse me courtesy of Funky it was me that you let you have the Ibuprofen Gel that Funky brought for meSixth Gear wrote:Sorry to hear about your bump Payner. Andy 075544 32993, Honda CB500S. (don't laugh it's faster than my old CG125 :-)) Dropped once, got crash bungs now. I don't suffer from 'insanity', I enjoy every minute of it!
