Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

June 21st - Ride Out - Friendly Ride - Exeter meeting point

Post by ddubya »

Hi. For those going from Exeter, I'm starting a thread (I think)! :D

Meet at Exeter Motorway Services, behind the garage, from 0900 to leave at 0915.
If we go up the M5 (boring, I know :ymsigh: ), we should get to Taunton Sainsburys at around 0945 :-bd

Close :)):

if you park opposite the garage, at the top on the main carpark, people can see you when they one off the roundabout and enter the Services.

Also, If it turns out there are any L plated riders (on friendlies this is not uncommon) then an alternative route will be needed that doesn't involve motorway.

Thanks for doing this though.

Billinom8s, thank you for your comments.

I apologise, unreservedly, for forgetting that people may not be able to go on the motorway!
If anyone cannot ride on motorway, please let me know and we can meet/travel another route (A30, takes around 50 mins).

All the best.

Err, A30 or A38?

A38 follows (broadly) the M5 north, whereas the A30 takes you east, past Honiton (though admittedly if you go out past Newcott you can turn left and get to Taunton via Corfe .... )

Hey Moose. What's in a number? :io:
You're right, of course, the 38 will be easier! :)):

Will sort out final route/times nearer the date, when we know if more are travelling up.
