Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

you won't be left behind, that's one of the things with friendlies, all junctions are marked by your fellow riders so there is no need at all to ride fast of even anywhere near bove comfort level.

the ride is a social, not a blast out, relax, enjoy and soak up the experience of some of the old farts that will be out. Lead rider won't be going over posted speed limits and as you are new to the whole thing i would guess you will be number two bike out there for the day. Number 3 rider will be the first junction marker.

pop along to the intro section and say hi and tell us a bit about yourself.

Following a little 'Triumph' meet at Cheddar, I shot off down to Haynes, arriving just after 1100.

Had a pot of tea sitting on the wicker furniture in glorious sunshine but no sign of the SWBs.

Evenshuuuuuually I wandered back to the bike assuming you'd all been consumed by the ford. (Waterfall at Cheddar was in full flow.).

Then Atomic appeared, trying to block my bike in. Had a chat, waved at smiler and set off homewards. (See seperate post).
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Ditto - big thanks to Smiler & Red5 for the leading & TEC duties.

Great to get out with you all again, to meet some new people from SWBikers as well as some old ones I've not seen in a while.
Hope everyone got home safely.

See you on the next one. :ympeace:

What a great day out. Great company and fantastic weather. Roads were pretty good as well.

Massive shout out to Smiler for leading and Red5 for TEC duties. With 20 bikes arriving for the ride and nobody getting lost was a proper result. Hope we get to do many more in 2019

Ditto with the thanks to Smiler for being ride captain at short notice and Red5 keeping it all together. A great intro' for the new guys to SWB :-bd

And if the new guys have a taste for our ride outs think about the ride to Loomies on 7th April, which will be a bit quicker pace  but not stupid

Glad you all had a good time. Sorry I couldn't make it. I sent the dry roads and sun in my place.
