Just received an email promoting 'Biker Rescue - a new service' so passing the info' on for interest, I expect most ex MCE policyholders will have seen this also.
I phoned the number given (01933 351511) and got confirmation that you do not have to be a MCE policyholder to use this service.
This is the essence of the service (copied from their email): Don't settle for second best when it comes to making a claim

Re: Biker Rescue
Like a few others on SWB, I was with the old MCE when they went to the wall in November last year; to be fair to the administrators I did get refunded the balance of my premium dosh. The new MCE have though, imo, made a fundamental error by using the same name. Have they never heard of the phrase 'Guilty by association'?
