Any help? Got a CPI SM 50, started it up last nite left it to idle, i got back and it had cut out, went to start it again and it would start, it was not firing. Check the spark plug, was dirty so i cleaned it up, went to start it up again, started but ran for like a second, check for fuel, had a full tank, checked for oil and it was almost empty. Got some more oil this morning filled it up and went to start and nothing, wasnt firing, i can bump start it but it dies on me keeps running but only when im still pushing it, i give it a little throttle and it starts to die on me, any help out there would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

Hmmmm
Was it out of oil because it might have lost compression due to lack of oil.
Or fingers crossed it sounds more like fuel starvation, or water in fuel or Plug.

definately change the spark plug first but if that doesn't work the symptons u describe do sound like fuel starvation - are you sure the fuel is getting from the tank to the carb?
is the fuel filter blocked.
is your fuel tap in the right position.
so it turns out.........sometime i do give a f*ck

I assume it's brand new (or at least came from a dealer)
