Our plasterer told us that in the past he has just put a skim over it as the bloody stuff was stuck on so well but in the end in our hall and stairs we persevered with the steamer and scored it up a bit and once we got under it, then it came off in huge strips as it was donkeys years old with about 10 layers of paint on it.........

well now kims flat is done i am back on the woodchip stripping challenge, one wall left now tho, well one and a half
