hi milky the rims are £60 each new and the spokes are £17 a set plus £60 to put them together, thats the cheapest ive found so far, ive tried some places up in bristol and they want over 200 per wheel, and as for rechromein effin no chance haha over £800 for handle bars, tank, rims so wont be going that way let me know if this is anygood to u ill pass on his address, regards andy

oh rely!? That aint too bad I was thinking alot more than that! Do you think i'd be better off getting a whole new setup like you're doing rather than try to rescue my current ones? I guess i'd probably end up spending near enough the same ammount and probably get a finish thats not gonna be as nice as new if i tried to resue these? :?

well i think once the rust is in the metal, it will prob cost more to re chrome and how long will it last ?? got some prices off them today for parts i need and i didnt think it was too bad handle bars £15 battery £14 new seat £89 left the list at work for the rest of stuff see if i can pick it up tomorrow got to ask about exhaust can. if i can keep the price to do it up under a grand ill be happy, the misses wont be but what the hell its only ear ache and to do without the other wont kill me ,,andy

paha! good man! :lol: Are the handle bars from the same place for £15?..That's one of me next things I'm after. :shock: I've only managed to find the 'sports' handle bars which are straighter than the standard ones and look rough for like £30ish! :| I'm gonna sort my own seat out Ive treated and re-painted the metal and found a place that can re-build the sponge quite cheap.. and you can get the covering original off the net so hoping to keep that below £80/90! If you could get hold of that list that'd be awesome :wink: :wink: Exhaust is around 100ish I'm guessing? Got any pics of what ya'v done so far?

only the sand blastin on the engine wheel centres, had all the frame and body parts blasted too bout £100 for that lot but worth it, its in the pics section on here somewhere

Do you think you could post up an ebay link to the bits you because I'd like to ask him lots of interesting questions that won't waste his time one bit and I'm sure lots of other peeps would like to ask some questions as well, if you know what I mean? :wink:

surely 4500 feedback and 99.9% means he cant be that bad a bad seller,if he was he would have been kicked off ebay long before now....

ok handlebars £15.40 complete seat £89 throttle & grips both sides £9 brake and clutch levers £18 a pair choke lever £7.50 battery £14 the chrome trim round the headlight he`ll try to match up,and i have to find some screws for the points cover x2 and the cover the other side x4 and two round badges for tank, hope this is of any use to u ,,,, andy

Yeh definetley! spot on andy! I've been lookin for bars, throttle and grips and the choke lever and will need to find a battery in the summer! So yeh nice one mate I can't find any of it that cheap either! :shock: Could you possibly PM me his details to get in toutch? Cheers buddy! :mrgreen:
