Thanks all
I knew we were gonna get the spiderman stuff

, good job it's not he's first name. He was called Christopher after Mels late Dad and Peter becasue my middle name, my dads middle name and my grandads middle name starts with P. My grandads is Peter and I liked it. So we've got this whole P thing going on
Christopher is doing much better now

He's in a crib not an incubator and on Thursday he had his first Mummy and Daddy cuddles

. His canular (what drips go into) is out. He's not hooked up to the monitoring machine anymore. The only thing he has got on him now is a tube through his nose to his tum to help him eat. He's getting breast milk through it an his salt levels are low so is getting a supplement through it. This is why he has to have his milk through his nose, so they now exactly how much he's getting. He's not on oralmorf anymore and is just taking paracetamol.
We've noticed a lot of difference in him, especiely when his oralmorth was stopped. He's not zoncked out anymore. I had to change his pooy nappy yesterday and it's the first time I've done one, made a bit of a mess
Mel is very tierd an still gets sore but is doing well.
I will put some pics up but the camara is in the hospital at the moment.
Thanks again for all your nice comments, it realy does mean a lot to us.

We'll everyone
THEY'RE HOME
Christopher and Mel came home today

There are some parent rooms in the neonatual dept in Wonford. Mel had her first night with Christopher in there on Sunday and I stayed with them last night, didn't get much sleep
We've got to take him for an 8 week check-up but all seems okay
As for poos, well he's a right little poo factory
I have to say that the maternity section at Wonford is nothing less than excelant. The staff are fantastic and are patient and always willing to help, we lurnt so much from them.
Mel's also ok now and has taken to motherhood like a duck to water.
Thanks again for all your nice comments, it means a lot.
Cheers, Mike (a very proud dad

)
