Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.

I am hoping to join in and say hello but the maps don't seem to work on my iPhone, is that cos I am being a bit thick!?

Looks good to me, as long as I dont drown in the River dart Raft race the week before, I should be up for this :D

well we drove the route today, all seems clear and fine. There are a couple of things to pass on to you though.

Firstly, there is about 10-15 miles of dull carraigeway but we have to do that to get about.
Secondly, when we got to Sparkford Motor Museum i went in and had a look at the cafe, to say it's small would be an understatement, you cannot get access to the cars unless you pay to go through the turnstile. Plus they don't seem to do much in the way of meals. Alternatively a couple of miles down the road there is a fuel stop with a McDonalds, i know it's not the best food in the world, i use the word food lightly here.

It's up to you really.

I think Smiler and a few others found a nice cafe at Compton Abbas airfield - as a possible alternative... Not sure McDonalds have realised the potential customer base for cake yet!!
