Was I holding you up there Dynamight?! Nice to see that footage of me though...I find it helpful to watch.
I had a fantastic day...inspite of collapsing on the tarmac cos I forgot to drink anything all morning! Big thanks to Simon for the organization...a very smoothly run day and a great atmosphere. Was really enjoying my 748 now that the forks are fixed
Glad the fallers are ok! Look forward to the next one, and hopefully meeting up for some road rides

Keep it moving or it will lock up, pack it in ice packs. Take Ibuprofen and put ibuprofen gel on it for the swelling. If you can find some take diclofenac. It's a non steroidal anti-inflammatory
If you're worried let me know and I'll take a look at it, otherwise get yourself to A&E, but be prepared for a long wait on a sunday. If you managed to drive back it should be ok though.

A great little free program called racechrono.Used a nokia n95 and a bluetooth GPS under the pillion seat.I used adobe premiere to overlay the gauges and transparency effects in video.

You need to host it on a site first, such as photobucket or youtube then post the link on here

Thanks for the offer Funky, I was walking around fine after my off. I didn't realise how bad it was yesterday and took the van back to Hertz Marsh Barton yesterday 4 miles away, and cycled back very gently only really using my right leg. Regreted it afterwards as my knee swelled up in the afternoon, and I haven't bent it for 24 hours now. I've been taking Ibuprophen orally, and I remember using Ibuprophen gel years ago after getting betten up after a night clubing in Bristol, I should get me some of that. I hadn't heard of diclofenac.

That's because it's a prescription drug, rather than an ovr the counter one - It's a member of the Brufen family (or at least cannot be taken with other Ibroprufen)
If you take Ibroprufen, you can alternate it with Paracetamol at 2hr intervals
Arnica cream is good for bringing out the bruises and helping with the swelling. Equally something like Tubi-grip will help too
