You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. The whole weekend is meant to be good so see you there Badger!!!badgerKDD wrote:I'm going to have to miss this one I'm afraid, looks like Sunday might be the only day of good weather before the kids go back to school and I go back to work, so we wany to try and do something as a family. Have a good ride guys.
I'm going to try and sort out an evening ride in early May seeing as the evenings are getting longerand if any one is around I'm probably taking the family up for the Paignton Bike weekend. Becs has family living in and around Paington so making use of the place to stay and I can check the bikes while Becs goes shopping!!

if the route really does go to lands End, thats a minimum 250 miles round trip from Exeter
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Yes it is. As stated in the original post for this ride out :Varcon wrote:Is the route on this really 200 miles +? If so thats rediculous for a friendly as they are meant to include 125s, im out if its really that long, as well as the 125 rider i was gonna bring, cba doing that much!
"It will be a long one at around 230miles and a riding time of around 6 hours."
If you do pull out it will be a shame, however the time/distance has never changed....!

Hmm, for some reason half way through the thread i thought it was a shorter route ? I might take a look at the route and see if i can tag along for a hundred miles or so, but i wont be doing 230 miles - its too far to be enjoyable !MattGreaves wrote:Yes it is.
