Has anyone actually got a policy in force and if so, with whom?
I only get that insurance a few weeks before i go as you only get insurance for the short duration.
I usually get cover from the morning of travelling to the end of the trip as it will cover Travel costs too

menzies3032 wrote: Mar 8th, '22, 12:33 oh yeah and for all the Action Camera uses (I will say GoPro but other brands work as well) you might want to check this out well worth the money if your going to be recording your sessions in Portugal you can have full on race analytics for less then £100
http://www.race-technology.com/gb/gopro
I will have a try of this as I have not seen it before, but I use https://racerender.com/Products/index.html currently which I like but interesting to try something new.

I am also tempted to get a newer Laptimer from AIM so I can get some more data feeds (currently using a 1st Gen Speedangle)

No idea what a good lap time round Portimao is but I bet I will be one of the slowest there :))

W0ffle check out the web site i linked they do a basic version (which I use for GoPro) but they also do a full version with GPS tracking transponders which then offer every form of accelerometer for every aspect if you really want to go mad.

But what you can get from my version is amazing and so much data and analytics its scary.
Take a look at the start of this video this will give you an idea of just some of the power of the software with just a GoPro

Not yet. They did say on the phone that they were having problems with the website, which is why the dates for our trip hadn't been published. Maybe the emails are absent as well.

They've taken the money with no problem.....
