I am on aR1/R6 owners forum and yes all we talk about is GHD's, perms and highlights.

however today a member who shall remain nameless put up a thread titled HELP HELP ASAP

this was the question

just adjusted my chain on 2000 R1 but now its too tight, call me thick if you want but how do you losen it off? tried screwing it the other way but nothing happens.
Got to use it for work at 14:30, will the chain snap if it's to tight.

Today i am ashamed that this person owns the same bike as i do

bring on the addition of basic mechanical skills into the DAS.

I'm suprised that on an R1 forum there has only been one person posting up something like that...

Though some of the things I read on gixerjunkies aren't much better  But thats the exception rather than the norm...

whats the point in adjusting the chain???
just wait until it snaps or falls off and you know it's time for a new one.
