Re: Castle Combe 8th July 2026
It's down to noise. They can only have 12 noisy days per year. You can blame the local villagers for that. BSB have 2 days and NGRR have 2. The others 8 are saved for car racing. They have a standard car trackdays but the limit is 90db. No bike is going to get down to that. A lot of cars struggle to...

Re: Wiscombe Park NHCA The Arnold Gimblett Speed Hillclimb
Weather isn't looking good.
Cars dragged a lot of mud onto the track last weekend.
it was never good in the damp under the trees.
Tucked the front once, braking into Sawbench.
Don't know if they will cancel it with the high winds and so much woodland.

Is there another way of watching it?
Didn't know about Kevils.

Re: Nurburgring bans bikes
I really enjoyed it. Even the buzz in the carpark. I got down to 8:23 on my second trip there. Third visit didn't go well. I was aiming to get into the 7 minute bracket. Unfortunately a BMW left antifreeze all around the last 3 corners. 2 bakes (including me) and 2 cars off and about 30 cars sideway...

Re: Nurburgring bans bikes
Yes on MCN too.
That will be the end of bikes on the ring.
No free riding either.
And what if it is rains on any of those 4 days.
They tried it back along with a few dedicated bike days and it was a disaster. Rained and no one went out.
