Re: Sunday 21st - fathers Day - sensible start time.

Well done with that pic' Mr Teckie. Just one criticism, why did you edit out my six-pack? :)): And a belated thanks for organising Sunday's 'Lane's of Exmoor Extravaganza', following cows for miles has never been so much fun! The rest of the ride was fun too, thoroughly enjoyed it - 'till the next n...

Not for me, I'll probably wonder over for Seaton bike night again.

Re: Seaton Bike nights 2026

Giving Seaton a miss this week in anticipation of the rideout I hope you're organising for Sunday🏍🤔. OOps, note to self - 'Make sure to check the date of the post you're replying too!' . Nice to see two of the usual suspects (and our Simon) last night. Hope you all got home safe and dry 'cos...

Re: Sunday 21st - fathers Day - sensible start time.

Okay, count me in Brian. Don't forget that all coffee and cake stops must meet SWB's high levels of expected standards ~o) :D - (thinks, why don't we compile a list of cafes recommended for our rideouts?)

I'll see how the folding stuff lies for this. Possibly discuss further over a coffee at Seaton Bike night tonight? https://www.southwestbikers.com/viewtopic.php?t=102684

Re: Bike nights at the Bluebell Cafe, Willand nr Cullompton.

After asking the question at the Bluebell Café (thanks Brian) at the end of our Blackdown Bimble rideout last Sunday, I can confirm that their bike meets are from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00-ish p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month - next one Tuesday 14th July.

Ptolemyx Brian, Arty Arthur and Banjo Dave - thanks for the company and the laughs on Sunday's ride around the hills - roads less travelled eh?
Agreed Brian, the Tramstop café in Colyton was a very pleasant stop, glad it met your stringent standards :) .
See you all on the next one.

That was a thought I had too, 'cept it's 10 miles away. My best guess is that it's the Lyndale cafe in the big car park off the A39 in Lynmouth. We've stopped there a few times in the past.

Got to be said I think that cafe was a bit of a find and clearly very biker friendly as we were made to feel very welcome. Must try that again a great stop if you’re planning a trip to Lynmouth.
In Lynmouth? Near Lynmouth? Do tell.

Re: Sunday 14th June - Blackdowns Bimble

Phil, good old Google Maps screws up your route, how many miles is it, can you post a screenshot of the actual route? Thanks PS.... not sure I can make it but thought I'd ask for others :( Andy W - that's some weird route you got there (posted above), bears no resemblance to my route. To confirm: 1...

Sounds fun Rob but just a tad too early for me to haul my old bones outa bed 😴🙄. Have fun though 🏍😁.
I might organise a Sunday rideout instead, at a time more suited to us of a more delicate (and possibly aged) persuasion.

Re: Bike nights at the Bluebell Cafe, Willand nr Cullompton.

Nice to meet you Bob, and the Guzzi of course. Quite a nice even spread of bikes there tonight I thought, along with the more modern stuff there were three oldies I've not seen since the old King died i.e. a Sunbeam S7, an AJS twin - either a G9 (500 cc) or G11 (650 cc) and an Ariel Colt - a pretty ...
