Re: Streetfighters

Nice one moose, seeing a TL makes me wanna go out and get another one straight away. Did you get theTLR clocks to work out ok on the wiring then? I keep thinking that I'll pop down one day for a gas but the usual gets in the way. Andy

Re: road legal moto x bikes

there are loads of choices out there, the honda crf230, yamaha serrow225 (kick and electric start) or better still the gas gas pampera (2 stroke and kick start but incredibely easy to start and even easier to ride) give em all a look 8)

Re: Pledge furniture polish?

use the ol mr sheen on my superduke which has a matt finish and it seems to work fine and is easier to clean afterwards as well, i do all the plastics, engine and exhaust as well. no probs. also do my leathers with it to help keep em waterproof. job done :P

Re: suzuki gt750

Re: Caliper Swapping

by the way Vercon, it's easy enough to rebuild 6 pots although a little expensive if the pistons are scored or scabby. i would be intersested if you wanna flog em

Re: Caliper Swapping

i have chopped and changed nissan, tockico 6 and 4 pots on my tl and find the 6 pots work best but only if you use decent sintered pads which is the prob with most brakes, i prob would have been as well just to use sintered pads and braided lines with the 4 pots with equally good results. i had at o...

Re: Warming up

i can quite understand not cycling, especially in the winter, but by the time you've got all yer kit on and the bike outta the garage you would almost be pulling in to college. and you'll be saving wear on the ped as far as warming up goes i will let the bike idle until choke off and then ride it st...

Re: i admit defeat

getting yer knee down generally has little to do with cornering and more to do with looking good just concentrate on smooth cornering keeping an eye on the vanishing point and exit all the time (which most people don't do) trust yer bike and tyres and keep in a gear lower than normal and it'll come ...
