I see the point, but just as a note - I don't think it's descrimination against bikers.

It's just a rule against helmets; do you think that if a car driver wore a helmet (Over-cautious, whatever) he'd be allowed to leave it on aswell? I don't think so...

It's not bikers, it's helmets.

I dont see why everyone makes such a big deal out of it, speeding in town does cause more accidents and increases the chance of fatalitys amongst drivers and pedestrains. That said though mate, if you want a 1000cc engine then get a 1000cc bike.

Your bike has been designed for a 600cc, bearing in mind the torque and weight it copes with.

Change the engine if you want, but it's tempting fate.

If you have an accident, then you can amaze people with a totalled bike body with an immaculte 600 engine inside it ;)

Just think though, to make it "As good as new" again he'll need new mirrors, indies, and if it's missing bungs then possibly bodywork too! I've learnt that a general rule of thumb is... DUCATI PARTS = $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!! Therefore, to conclude, he's going to have to fork out unless he minds a...
