Re: February Track Days

Cheers for the advice all. Been away a bit lately. Did pick up a set of wets a couple of weeks ago and have now finally got a spare set of wheels set up. Had a set BT003RS's fit by Holbeach at a No Limits event last year and was really impressed with them. They're better than I am anyway!! Cool to h...

Re: A ponderment on tyre pressures

If your good enough to feel that the tyre is doing something it shouldnt be then make small changes, otherwise just ride the [Censored] thing Definately agree with you on that and I'm one of the first to say just ride what you've got underneath you and enjoy it. On the road, i never bother to do an...

Re: February Track Days

Sounds like it might be a good idea. Optimism meets pragmatism! Had a tough TD this year trying to keep up with riders on wets in the p******g rain. Sliding all over the place, particularly scary braking and changing down for the slow corners with the back end wandering all over the place. I could r...

Re: Hello All

Ahh, finally worked out how to upload pictures (I think). I'm really not all that bright.... Pics of my two bikes. Honda is track only now and has had a good few mods recently. Spent all day yesterday fitting a new tail fairing which involved a lot of cutting, fiddling, swearing, blood, etc etc. :-\...

Re: A ponderment on tyre pressures

I'm going to start with 'I'm no expert but....' :)): As I understand (and also talking to a mate of mine who races single seater motorbike engined cars), the really important thing is not the pressure of the tyre, but the temperature of the tyre in use. If you leave the tyre pressures high - say roa...

Re: Police and Partnership camera vans

Have seen one clocking people just after Carkeel roundabout on the A38 heading into cornwall. Hiding in the Trematon turning catching people on the short dual carriageway bit. Watch out!

Cheers

Hello All

Hello all. Just found your website. Been riding a few years, currently have a Hypermotard 1100 for the road (and an odd couple of times on track) and a 97 CBR600 track bike with a few nice mods done by Steve at Peak Performance in Exeter. Will post some pics when I work out how - not very familiar w...
