Four paralysed riders....
We finished The Bike Experience's first season with four paralysed riders coming to learn how to get back on a bike. We were fortunate to have Mike "Spike' Edwards come along as our guest instructor. He and his good lady wife have put together this video which shows exactly what we do on one of...

Re: MALLORY 15th October
I'm there as well. Looking forward to it, and keeping fingers crossed for dry weather. Will be up in the garages (as I need to be up there to launch safely). Booked in Inters. See you there. Talan

Last Bike Experience of 2011
This wednesday, at Castle Combe, is the last Bike Experience of 2011. We are hoping to finish off the season with four riders, which is a huge step forward from the first event where we only had one. If you'd like to come along to help, let me know by adding a comment to The Bike Experience facebook...

The Bike Experience No. 9 and 10.
The past two Bike Experience events took place in a short space of time. Last Sunday saw the charity head to RAF Odiham for the first time and on Wednesday the charity was back at the familiar stomping ground of Castle Combe. A total of nine riders attended the two events, so it was a busy time for...

Triple Header....TBE No.5
Triple Header. It appears the word is spreading….the word that there is a small group of people who will show you how the impossible can be possible. Popularity and demand have meant we had to try a triple header, we had to see if it was possible to run three students at The Bike Experience. The stu...

Re: Volunteers for Launch Crew in July
Have sent a few pm's.
We start at about 8.30/9am for the launch crew, and will wrap up by 2pm. Venue at Castle Combe, two riders coming to each date in July, so need six in total.
Cheers

The Bike Experience No. 4
Wednesday 22nd saw the fourth running of The Bike Experience. Jeremy and Dan were the two riders attending this event, both were riding for the first time since their accidents and for Jeremy this meant the first time in 29 years. The day started off wet and windy, so not ideal conditions. After the...

The real "Right Stuff' Boys.
Yesterday we had the third episode of The Bike Experience. Paul and Chris were the two riders, both of whom were paralysed 17 years ago. Paul was there for Level 1 and Chris for Level 2. The rain came down in buckets during the morning 'paddock' session where the riders learned to work with their La...

That looks truly mental. I was scared for the rider just watching it.

Hi from Bath
Hi there, my name's Talan, living in Bath, just joined and am introducing myself. I ride a GSXR 750, GSXR 600, SV 650 and Husaberg 501, not all at sometime though. Only ride tracks, as I had to promise my parents I'd never ride on the road again, having been paralysed from the chest down in a bike a...
