Re: F*kin busy bodies!
Make sure the copper went back and told them they were wrong. Had a follow up call this morning, they had their suspicions that the person/people in question had been making false and exaggerated complaints/reports (apparently complain a lot about traffic stuff) and my evidence of being at work pro...

F*kin busy bodies!
Had a visit from the local PCSO today (I was at work)... He called me later on in the day as he was given my mobile when he called round and I was out... Someone in the next village down has reported me for speeding (well 2 busybody best friends)... Gave my registration which is what the police used...

Re: Avoid - www.cjfmotorcycles.com/
to be honest, its somewhat irrelevant what I bought as it wasn't as described regardless what it was. The biggest issue was that when messaged and then as per ebay rules the case was "escalated" they made absolutely no effort to resolve the issue, they didn't even acknowledge the messages ...

Avoid - www.cjfmotorcycles.com/
I know this is for recommendations but you guys probably want to know who to avoid just as much as who to use.. I bought from their ebay account (link below), the dispute was decided in my favour but for whatever reason ebay removed my negative feedback. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/cjfmotorcycleaccess...

Re: Rough idle and backfiring
Just took the tank off and side plastics and started having a poke around to see if any hoses were off or anything...
Then I found the main feed from the air induction control valve to the carb had a hole in it... That is definitely not going to help!

Re: Rough idle and backfiring
I'm thinking it must be something I've disturbed as before I looked into it there was only a slight juddering
Going to see if I can find any twisted pipes etc on my day off on Wednesday I think

Re: Rough idle and backfiring
Unfortunately I don't know how to re-set my idle, I did nudge a bar that spans the carbs so perhaps that could be it, it slides back and forth but springs back to place so thought it'd be ok... Everything seems electronic in terms of set up though as theres no idle screws that I could see... Its a 2...

Re: Rough idle and backfiring
oh right, I'm gonna strip the tank off and have a good look to see if there's any split hoses, rusty earths, loose wires etc to rule that stuff out...

Rough idle and backfiring
My bike was surging the other evening and seemed a little down on power so I took out the plugs yesterday and they looked a bit rough, cleaned them up as a temporary measure and planned to pick some up after work... This morning I went to start the bike and it backfired and cut off as soon as it fir...

Re: Numberplates - where to buy?
some mates got plates off ebay (some flexi-plates some normal) and they have all been crap however they got the cheapest... I just received one today off ebay which was £12.99 (can get some for £6 delivered) The font slopes down and is 2.5mm lower on the right hand side to the left None of the corne...

Numberplates - where to buy?
Right, I want a new plate for my bike but I want a smaller one (my choice please don't give me grief)... I'm struggling to find somewhere that actually makes something I'd happily fit to my bike... Those "flexi-plates" are just pure rubbish, a few mates have them and they are awful! I am n...

Some right fools out there
Was plodding along earlier minding my own business (on my way to Penzance) behind a car (wasn't safe to pass) Then all of a sudden a green bike (think ninja, looked green and white) appeared from nowhere and shot past me, overtook the car I was behind and sqeezed through a gap between the car infron...
