Re: Sunday 21st - fathers Day - sensible start time.

No grass or fords but a fair few less well frequented back roads that no tourists are ever likely to be on....

...may be a bit of grass after all, but nothing to get your knickers in a twist over

Re: happy birthday Ptolemyx

Was a nice day out with the camera trying to be a half decent photographer followed by a very nice halibut and scallop meal with an excellent wine. Cake was passion fruit and mango with Devon clotted cream.

Andy, the 110ish mile ride finishes at the Bluebell Cafe, Willand about 14.00hours. There will be a coffee and cake stop or two along the way.

Re: Seaton Bike nights 2026

Me and at least one of the other Greyones will be there tonight - 18th June. Anyone fancy joining us for banter, crap coffee and gawping the bikes :?:

Looks like you changed your mind about tonight Phil, two minutes after posting on the Sunday ride out thread...

Re: Saturday 20th Early ride out to Boscastle for Breakfast

Maybe. 07.00 in at Bridge is possible. 07.00 in Plymouth was not.
Don't wait for me - if, as usual, I'm up early with the dawn chorus I'll be there but there's a chance I might have a "normal" nights sleep

That was nice Phil :-bd Colyton tram stop cafe definitely deserves revisiting. Re: Sunday 14th June - Blackdowns Bimble

Route comes up okay(ish) on p.c. using Phil's link. I guess the business at Combe St Nicholas is a glitch. Same at Honiton going out to Fenny Bridges. Here's a screenshot of the 66mile route:- Screenshot_12-6-2026_154726_www.google.co.uk.jpeg I'd do 60 miles as per following screenshot but Phil may ...

Re: Sunday 14th June - Blackdowns Bimble

Of course I'll be joining in the fun.
Brakes have been sorted - abs switched off - look out for my Toprak like stoppies
...In my dreams

Advice from a skinflint. Don't fill up at the starting point filling station. As far as I know cheapest near there is Tesco, Collumpton.
