its the asbestos potential that makes me nervous. but ive since seen that bonding (plastering) the ceiling, is a realistic alternative. cheers

yep completely off piste! anybody got experience of moving into a property with this stuff? how did you regard the threat and what if anything did you get done? Ive lived through aluminium pans, amalgum fillings, leaded petrol, and so far - tory governments. not sure how to deal with this 5th horsem...

Wild one here. A friend's industrial glue gun has broken. There is a threaded brass piece stuck in it. The bit you'd normally 'grab' snapped off. I'll try znd post pics.
