Re: Possible long ride east Sat 25th July

This could be a definitely maybe as we're not working. Probably pick you up on route though in Dorchester. I'll look at a suitable place to pick you up when you post a route.

Maybe the first run out for the new bike.

Re: Brekky on the Blackdowns - Sunday 12th July. UPDATE

Anyone want to join Brian and me for another tour of the Blackdown Hills this Sunday? This will include a breakfast/brunch stop at a location not previously polluted by SWB - I think. It's not an ultra long rideout because the Blackdowns aren't ultra big; also, it's set to be another hot day and, f...

Re: 2021 Ktm690smcr diagnostic tools

My understanding is that there is not only no software available to domestic customers there is also no software available to the independent trade. To access the ECU a main dealer has to be signed onto the KTM mainframe. Packages that turn on features such as quickshifters and track pack must be pu...

Re: breakdown cover

I think I've probably used all of them at one point or another. The time they take to turn up is a lottery on the day. If it's quiet it'll be quick if it's Good Friday you're knackered. Older machinery tends to be cheaper with AA & RAC. I always have personal cover rather than vehicle specific c...

Re: Anyone on here use TuneECU?

I have used tune ECU for years on Triumphs. Originally so I could reset the service light. It doesn't run on the latest android phones and tablets. I generally run it from my circa 5 year old smart phone which works well.

Re: Can anyone help me with a problem with my Triumph

All the things suggested are possible. Eliminate earth issues as per Ruffian's post then work your way through. I would suggest a proper drop test on your battery. Most are pretty awful quality I've just gone through three battery warranty claims on a works van with supposed premium battery, all sh...

Re: Wheel rim bead out of alignment

So long as the wheel is balanced, which it is I cannot see it would be a problem. To check beed allingnment you would really need to take the wheels off. The bike has intergalactic miles on it so would be surprised if they are completely true given the amount of pot holes it would have hit over it's...

Re: Castle Combe 8th June 2026

So I've now booked Monday 8th June at Castle Combe. It's not through the CC website it's via https://www.mpsmotorsport.co.uk/ It's £212 which is more than the CC days, but thought i'd give it a try and see the difference. As Combe is only just up the road for me it's still less than it would cost m...
