We've spent most of today on a mixture of mountain passes, twisties and maybe the best 10 mile stretch of road I've ridden in a very long time. All of it to be found in the Pyrenees around Aínsa.

Try GV Bikes in Taunton. Paul the mechanic owned Brummers Bikes a Triumph specialist and was a Triumph Master Tech for years.

Not got your Honda 750? Nope. Did everything competently, 1500 miles through France didn't miss a beat, 75mpg, comfy, practical...... .....but sooooo boring. I may not be racetrack-quick nowadays, but there's still a spark of naughtiness when I ride, so it just didn't feel right. What next?

I'd consider paniers first one up on a bike wit a top box usually unsettles the whole thing I'm the opposite. The top box sits in your wind shadow so can make the bike less prone to buffeting at speed. Also it doesn't change the rear width so filtering isn't effected. Though just having panniers lo...
