Re: Can anyone help me with a problem with my Triumph

All the things suggested are possible. Eliminate earth issues as per Ruffian's post then work your way through. I would suggest a proper drop test on your battery. Most are pretty awful quality I've just gone through three battery warranty claims on a works van with supposed premium battery, all sh...

Re: Wheel rim bead out of alignment

So long as the wheel is balanced, which it is I cannot see it would be a problem. To check beed allingnment you would really need to take the wheels off. The bike has intergalactic miles on it so would be surprised if they are completely true given the amount of pot holes it would have hit over it's...

Re: Castle Combe 8th June 2026

So I've now booked Monday 8th June at Castle Combe. It's not through the CC website it's via https://www.mpsmotorsport.co.uk/ It's £212 which is more than the CC days, but thought i'd give it a try and see the difference. As Combe is only just up the road for me it's still less than it would cost m...

I use a multi bike policy and been with all of the big bike insurance brokers. Generally they are all as shit as one another and trade in snake oil.

Re: Long Distance Touring on a Naked Bike?

Wendy has done loads of touring on her street triple rs, yearly trips into Europe with regular UK trips. She wouldn't use anything else.

Remember touring isn't scratching especially if you are two up. Your biggest concern for touring 2 up is pillion comfort and luggage for 2.

Re: Castle Combe 8th July 2026

No food provided usual cafe or bring your own. Much better than CC normal setup.

Go in the group you are comfortable in. There are so few people on track 12 in each group you have all the space in the world.

Re: Castle Combe 8th July 2026

I'll probably do one or two at Combe this year but it'll be via MPS motorsport.

Get in touch, might be something of interest.
I have a Honda CB1000GT on order the new model for 2026. Won't be delivered until March/April and will then need to be run in first.

Not much to see at Trago2Wheels unless your bag is Chinese slowpeds. Also thought they had moved it into the main shop now but may be wrong.
