Who do people use for little fabricating, welding and machining jobs on their bikes? When I've had chatter in the past it's been because the oil I was using was too heavy. What happens is the forks are overdamped and can't respond to the ripples in the road. Old thread but my 2p's worth, https://www.teignmetalfinishes.co.uk/ just off the A38 in Newton Abbot. Run by keen bikers and has done me some very nice jobs plating and powder coating at reasonable prices.

Compressing the forks will change the steering characteristics of the bike, but it'll revert back to normal as the brakes are released and the front comes up again. It can make the bike quicker to turn into the corner due to the temporary steeper head angle, but you should be tapering off the brakin...

Old thread resurrection. There is a relatively new product I read good reviews on and decided to try. It's called Monimoto and it's a tracker device that is designed to be hidden under the bodywork of your bike. It's small and unobtrusive, about the size of a cigar tube, and runs off Li-ion batterie...
