Re: Llandow SWB trackday 28-06-24 "Fast" group
Thanks guys! Ha ha I'm sure you will get me back when we go Donny Rob, very exciting now you have your new bike :-bd Ye it seemed not many people wanted to carry quite the speed through the chicane onto the last right hander so that seemed to be my favourite spot, bit of time to find around the firs...

Llandow SWB trackday 28-06-24 "Fast" group
Here's a video from the 4th session of the "fast" group. I happened to do my fastest lap of the day in this session but also some fun close riding so worth a look.

Donington GP Layout this Saturday 28th MSV
Thinking of heading to Donny this Saturday 28th October with MSV, want to see what my ankle is like and give the bike a shakedown but was holding off due to weather, looks like it could be dry.. Thought I would see if anyone else is interested, currently places in all groups. Looks like I will be go...

Re: Castlecombe wednesday 26th July

I took my street triple to castle combe this year, sold it now. was good fun but have been tempted to trade in the s1000r and get a daytona for the track and some form of ktm duke for the road.... Hey, I use a free program...

Re: Castlecombe wednesday 26th July
Sorry guys, haven't been on the forum for a few months 😅 think mine blows about 98db static at 5.5/6k with the baffle in and Dave has been there before on his thundercat and got through, so fingers crossed we will be ok. Small groups will feel like an empty track especially compared to recent no lim...

Re: My Castrol Racing Honda 929 fireblade Track bike build - Now Daytona 675 build!
Here's the link for Anglesey: https://youtu.be/ZJLeMZUkcSA and how the bike looks now: https://i.imgur.com/ad3Thkf.jpg Honestly Rob you are too kind, but without blowing my own trumpet, I've definitely improved 10 fold over the past 4 days on track on the 675 compared to the first 4 days on track wi...

Re: My Castrol Racing Honda 929 fireblade Track bike build
Thought I would resurrect this thread and update, so... I sold both my fireblades over covid. I decided I wanted to drop back to a 600 and get a little more serious into the track bike riding. Wanted to buy the newest/best spec bike I could afford within reason, ended up with a cat 'N' 2014 Daytona ...

Donington park 19/03/23 with a few members off the forum.
A little vlog/diary I made of our Donington Park track day a few weeks ago, showing how my lap times improved as the day went on and generally having a good time on track with friends. It's quite long so you might want to get a cuppa before you sit down and watch :coffee: 🤣 Cheers https://youtu.be/p...

Castlecombe wednesday 26th July
As title, me and Dave (Exxon-Valdez) have booked, shorter sessions and quite strict noise limits just so people are aware, its up and back in a day though so no need to stay over. Have to book directly on Combe website, link here: https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/motorcycle-track-days
Cheers.
Cheers.

Sorry Phil, only just seen your message, glad it did the job for you
I think it's worth the money, sounds like you've had a similar situation to me. All the best.

Re: Shortening a chain, replacing a front sprocket and re-riveting a hollow link.
Thanks Jug, I only bought the AFAM one as a one off really for that specific DID hollow link, the link and the tool only came to about £27, I think it will do a few more hollow links before it's worn out but time will tell. I used to borrow a friend's one for the solid rivet style, like the one we b...
