Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

looks like the metcheck is saying rain all day now - if that is the case I will give it a miss as not enough experience in the rain (and speedy this ain't a get out after your pep talk as with new bike I am really looking forward to it now!!) :?

On a positive note the MOTO GP is a early one so will be finished by 9am if no miss apps :?

Just in time to leave and meet up

I'm afraid I agree with Jay on this one ..... if it's not bad on the morning I'll give it a go - but I ain't going anywhere if it's wet from the outset

That's assuming it passes it's MOT saturday afternoon .... I only realised it was about to run out when I got the bike taxed today
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

If it is raining from the word go is there a chance it could be prosponed? Be a shame to have a poor turnout on what looks to be a very good ride because of rain.

sundays rideout

Post by julian »

Sorry this was meant to go here  Hi Guys, Can’t make it on Sunday :( , tried riding but the stitches in my knee are rubbing on the leathers what with the legs bent double, hurts like ******* damm race-rep, should have bought a Harley!!

Thanks to Speedy and to all the other guys who help to run the site , I know you must put considerable effort in to make it as good as it is. hope to catch up with some members soon.

Hope it stays dry for all of you on the rideout but above all take care.

PS I’ll be at bmad Friday with my 2 boys, and maybe Saturday night with my girlfriend, so if you see a guy with a bandage on his right leg, say hello, its me!! :D

I'm gonna duck out of this. Sorry but the weather isn't looking any better and it's a hell of a long day from here to be doing it in the rain. It would be no fun at all.

I'm sure some people will still do the run even if it's raining (unless it's heavy). All this talk of postponing and people will get confused.

One of you should just put up a thread for another rideout the following Sunday.

Lets just see what it's like on Sunday morning as we can all log in first thing.

If it is off then I can make next Sunday !
