More questions indicators this time

Post by V6 Mondy »

I bought a set of smaller indicators for my bike (1998 fireblade) i've fitted the back ones, which look great. However the front ones being a lot smaller don't fit in the recess (without looking silly :? )
I was looking at something like these in the link, but i can't see how they would be noticeable to other road users ? They don't stick out like my HUGE Honda ones, any thoughts please, or other suggestions ?
Also they have a 3 wire fitting ?

So many questions

PS i will have a front pair of carbon look front indicators for sale LOL

I' ved seen quite a few bikes with the flush mount, personally i think the large ones look tacky. I'd go for the indy spacers and get some flash looking ones.

they look far better than the huge honda ones and might be a tidy halfway house between them and the little dinky ones.

Oh, and if you drop the bike they break off at the stem and can be put back together quite easily, they are designed for offroad bikes 8)

I had the ones in your original topic fitted to the SP1, they were fine and the build quality (assuming they're the same) was excellent. Changed them because the sticky pads became unstuck, tried to find other type flush mount but ended up with the normal style 'arrow' indicators. As Mike said those IndySpacers allow all the aftermarket ones to fit.

Well i made the journey to Taylors and they don't do them for my bike :(
Didn't fancy the idea of making the Yamaha ones fit so i think it'll be the sticky on ones, if they're long enough

Bikes now wearing two little kinky ones on the back and two HUGE Honda ones on the front
