Video caputure help needed please

Post by Mike Daytona600 »

I know you can capture frames from dvds, I've done it before. reason being I've got printable dvds and want to print a title onto the dvd.

I've got real player, quick time, and media player. You can do it on windvd but doesn't want to for some reason and I'm pretty sure I used one of the others.

Please help

Just pause the bit you want then press the print screen button on the keyboard then paste it in any pic editing program like paint, Photoshop etc then edit it

Does it just give a black screen where the picture should be?

No.

I play the film and then pause it. I then press Prt Scr and nothing happens. I also tried it with Shift, Alt, and Ctrl but nothing. I tried on real player and media player.

Oh right, alot of the time it wont allow to take a screen grab if you have hardware acceleration enabled: http://blog.rac.me.uk/2003/01/21/techy- ... reenshots/

Also, you are pressing print scree then pasting it into paint/photoshop etc
