Police Bike Spotted

Post by layne »

Following on from a previous post about the police speeding purge throughout November.

The unmarked police bike has been spotted today on the A38 by Exeter Race Course - it’s a dark blue Pan-Am. Blue lights appeared to be in the mirrors!

Keep your eyes peeled.

That'll be Pan Euro then?

I also saw an old BMW R1150 RT in Navy Blue pulled some one over last week, it had the blue lights fitted, and working.

This was by Cullompton on the M5.

yeah getting more common, they lose less cash as they hold their value better, will get a photo of it next time I see it at the side of the road broken down LOL, or ploughing a field LOL

pans etc that done high mileage lose a fortune, but harleys just hold their value and hence the interest

was damned funny the first time I saw it, with panniers and all the paintwork

shame it had no tassles on it though, could have really had a laugh

In the Computer Science Dept. at King’s College, University of London they built this super computer with artificial intelligence that could carry on a conversation with anyone at their relative intelligence level.
All one had to do was type in their IQ and the computer, through its' voice activated-sound generating processor, would begin the conversation.
So they thought they would test it out on several of the King’s faculty.
The first faculty member typed in his IQ at 187 and a bunch of lights on the computer began flashing, then it began a conversation with the scientist on the origins of the universe, mathematical proof of the existence of black holes, and existential philosophy.
The second faculty member then typed in an IQ of 179 and again lights lit up on the computer (not quite as many as the first faculty member, but...) and it began a conversation with the scientist about molecular biology, brain surgery and international monetary policy.
When they tested it on the third faculty member, his finger slipped at the keyboard and typed in 73 instead of 173. Not much happened -- just one little light, it the upper right hand of the computer display, slowly dimmed then grew stronger, then dimmed... Finally the computer said....
"So, how's the Harley running'?"

Seen a dark blue / black volvo on the M5 the other day - and a couple of bikes came hooning past me at J27 the other, just as I spotted a white bonnet up the slip road  They were all on the hard shoulder just after Cullumpton

The M5 seems no worse than normal, but they did say there was going to be a purge on the A38 between Exeter and Plymouth a while back
