Did about 4 miles and the speedo went dull and the display just had a line through it, this has happened to me so I knew at that point it was going to cut out but did not know when, managed to get from clyst st mary to sowton before it stopped, at this I had to quickly pull the clutch in.
Push it up the road of trade city in sowton, then managed to bump it, run a red light and get onto the ring road.
Anyhoo a couple more attempts of this and I finally made it home, sounds like a bloody reg/magneto problem again and those barstewards aint cheap.
Will have a closer look when I can to diagnose and keep you all updated.
The funny thing is I have a tool kit under the seat of the bike, but because I have a solo seat cowl you can't get to it without remove 6 allen bolts.
