The story so far

Post by PeterM »

Hi there folks

I ride a Pan....A 1300 Pan...one of those bikes that no one ever waves at....well not much anyway...

Ii the first 25 months of owning my Pan I have travelled 50,000 miles (I am not a copper) mostly for pleasure

This year I have had the pleasure in getting my Pan and Me and my significant other abroad several times.

4 times this year I have managed to use the Channel tunnel

First....Easter we went to Sluis for the weekend with the Mayflower MCC of which I am a member

Second......We went abroad back in May/June and started the ball rolling with a weekend in Ypres http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/BritSToc7May2007 then on to Switzerland http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/Switzerland2007 where we went to a Meritum Rally and then on to Italy to the FIM rally http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/Th ... Rallly2007 after which we of course headed home via Switzerland http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/On ... kFromItaly

Third.......Off we went again this time to MotoCamp in Slovenia http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/Slovenia2007 then onto Croatia for a few days http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/Croatia2007 before we headed back home through Italy and Switzerland using the best pass in the world which is of course Stelvio which for us was nearly closed because of the snow http://picasaweb.google.com/BritSToc/He ... witzerland

Fourth.......Just a weekend away to Holland to Neede to participate in a Dutch motorcycle rally and typically I have just realized that I have not uploaded mine yet so here are someone else's http://www.needsemotorclub.nl/downloads ... -en-films/

Luckily we have managed to capture some these trips on film

My favourite is

Brilliant ! used to love trips like those, but it's tricky with young kids  another year or two and it might be possible again though 8)

The Mrs, Kids and i drove to Italy in August.

Didn't book anything just the tunnel over and a packed car with camping gear.

1 Night France- 1 Night Switzerland (Luzern)-8 NIghts Italy (Lake Garda)

Back to Switzerland (Luzern again) 1 night - 1 night Belgium then 1 more night in France.

Was fabulous and we all loved switzerland. Got to go there a again.
