Re: ****BEST RIDERS OF ALL TIME *******
what about Hailwoods great rival Agostini, a little known Finnish guy who lost his life in the seventies brilliant rider called Jarno Saarinen would get on my list
along with the great trials rider/ racer /museum owner Sammy Miller, Ivan Mauger and Ove Fundin from Speedway, the late great Dave Jeffery, Johnny Ceccotto took a standard yam racer out of the box back in the seventies and embarrased the works teams, Sheene and Roberts. to restrain the list to twenty is difficult but then everyone to their own.

Re: ****BEST RIDERS OF ALL TIME *******
Not seen any of his racing but Mike Hailwood. Why? Cos I was named after him, what an honor
. My Dad told me how good he was. I must get a DVD with his racing on, any recomendations?

Re: ****BEST RIDERS OF ALL TIME *******
well i will try now
Bazza Sheene will always be at the top of the list whatever
Followed by Yer maun Joey Dunlop
then King Kenny Roberts
would have to list Ivan Mauger next i think
Jarno Saarinen
Ago
Sammy Miller
Mike the Bike
Ron Haslam
Dave (Bones) Aldana US rider back in the old easter transatlantic match races for racing in leathers with a skeleton on them
Martin Lampkin first ever trials world champion
Evel Kniivel just for doing the downright impossible and stupid, then getting up again and starting all over again when he was patched up
John Surtees for doing what no other man has done
Murray Walker for giving up racing and starting commentating
Hissy
Foggy
Steve Parrish
Dave Jeffery
Johhny Ceccotto
No 20 is all the riders who went to the isle of man never to return just for getting on a bike and trying/doing it
