Sorry to hear mate, but at least your ok.
The best thing about not being able to ride your bike for a few days is that its makes it more fun when you can

Re: ****FESTER GONE DOWN TODAY***********
Just seen this as well !
Hope you get the bike back on the road asap !!!!!!!
I was coming home from Bristol on the Airport road one evening in the week and came across a police car and some poor sods Moped in a heap in the road not a good sight.
I could not see the rider or another vehicle so either the rider had gone off to hospital or he was sat in the police car.
But like it's been said before it's never a good sight to see.

Rode up Ridgeway/Dorchester rd. 2 days ago, diesel most of the way along it, right on my fav' line. I'll bet it was some pleb that forgot to cap his fueltank.

Hi Fester,
Just curious but did you report the deisel spill to the police? If so how long did they take to come out and did they do anything about it?
MCN have been going on about deisel spills and police responses for ages, so interesting to know how our local force view it?

Re: ****FESTER GONE DOWN TODAY***********
Without wanting to sound rude, why not?
What about the next poor bugger that goes riding round that corner and ends up in a hedge? I'm not a huge fan of the police when I'm on my bike, but if I came off on some deisel I'd be absolutely F**kin livid, I'd be onto the phone immediately to get them out to clean it up and give me a crime number so I could claim through the Motoring Insurers Bureau. Maybe if someone reported it earlier it may have saved you.
Like I said, I'm not trying to cause offence, I just figure if we don't look out for each other who will?

When you lying in the middle of the road , with traffic all around you , and you are badly battered and your bike is smashed up , that was the last thing on my mind . The old boy who picked me up from the road , and dragged me onto the pavement . And ran me home . Said he would do it . All [Censored] right . If i wanna get nagged , i got the wife
