I guess its more acceptable to go mug someone, or steal anothers property, than it is to ride on basically clear but open public highways

As I understand it his actions 'had' raised awarness with the police, as members of the public had complained about his riding. That's an easy one to answer, it's to send a message that that kind of riding/behaviour isn't acceptable on the public highway & the penalty will be severe if caught.so why does his crime demand/warrant a 12 week custodial sentence when other seemingly more serious crimes see people go relatively scot-free![]()
