Very sad :( RIP Seems to have been a few fatalities in the last few weeks .......

Whilst in hospital last week there was a lad in the bed opposite who'd been in a nasty accident just along from there by the Ruffwell - riding a 50cc trailie in the dark saw a pair of headlights coming towards him, then all of a sudden another pair of lights appeared in his lane - a car behind decided to overtake  With no-where to go he hit the car (a Saxo) head-on ....... dislocated one elbow, fractured the other arm, fractured both legs, 2 vertebrae, etc., etc., He went home at the weekend after 4 weeks in hospital  Fortunately the other party has admitted liability.
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Sad news about the death

The lad in hospital sounds a bit fortunate to even still be alive! swift recovery for him and the pillion in the over story.
