Was thinking of doing a reccy soon to try to find a suitable pub in Yeovil for a meet, but hadn't got round to it yet because of weather etc...
Not sure how up to date this is http://www.pubinnguide.com/pubdetailsidx52.asp will try to ring them and find out.
Otherwise, what do you think of The Penn Mill? Large car park, easy to find also has been recently refurbished.
The Arrow?
The Rose and Crown at Trent http://www.roseandcrowntrent.co.uk/gallery.asp ?

Maybe we should get together and sort something out Croddman?

Jon.

when i lived in yeovil, a few years ago it was the drug center of yeovil, i should imagine its prety chavvy in there now as its right on the 'circuit' round town.

there is a big wetherspoons down the bottom end of town, quite close to the cinema so has lots of parking or if you are on the bike, itson the edge of the pedestrian zone so sould park the bikes right outside the pub :D

other than that, the pall was the biker bar in town, but we are talking back patch and customs here - ahh those were the days 8)

i have heard the arrow up on the estate by the football club is quite a loud family pub

Yeovil has got a lot better over the years, best to stay out of town i.e wetherspoons / Cineworld as I am shore the Chavs will try to invade with there Saxo's HAHA

I'll have a look around for a pub with some good car parts and let you all know

+ 1 for people up for a meet in yeovil!
It might be a bit far out of town, but how about the pickety witch on Ilchester road? from what i remember it was alright in there ( havent been for a few years mind ) - and they have a decent size car park.
Either that or the Prince of wales up ham hill? Not in yeovil i know, but a nice pu all the same!

prince of wales is a quiet pub, always had a poster in the front window saying 'no motorcyclists' when i was heading up that way tho :(

pickity has good parking, can't say i have ever been in there tho.

isn't there a pub in the centre of IIchester called 'the bear' or something like that. lots of parking there.

what about 'the greyhound' top of henford hill ?

The Greyhound was in South Street-now closed down, The Quicksiver is at the top of Hendford Hill, I've been into The Pen Mill Hotel, which is looking favorite at the moment http://www.penmillhotel.co.uk/ I went in a few weeks ago to see if we'd be welcome and was assured we would be, but like the regular SWB pub meets a Thu or Fri would be too busy, so it's just a case of choosing a date. Their food is quite good and the staff are friendly, so it has my vote 8)

How about a sunday lunchtime meet followed by a ride to Westbay or somewhere.

I'd be up for that. :)
