apparently complaints about bikers nights at the red lion Avebury have forced the nights to be canceled,
according too MCN, the landlord was told by the brewery he would lose the pub if he carried on having organised bike nights, but the landlord has said he cannot stop people on motorcycles turning up as ordinary customers, so apparently it still happens bikers meet there but it is not a bikers night anymore,
now this little charade could put the mockers on that i suppose

LOL what a joke, how can they proove that the "convoy" is riding together, what if 3 or 4 bikes all leave the factory after a night shift, all have to head up a dual carriageway to get to the motorway to go home

are they in a convoy and therefore at risk of being charged!!!

I look forward to seeing how they enforce this.

the whole road system could be called a convoy as they all travelling together, so maybe this is some sort of stealth tax that will enable them to nick every vehicle on the road and fine you!!


and Jam, yeah know where your coming from, the bash has taken a right proper hammering from the local plod, but up there the locals want the bash to continue, there was 2 ladies in one of the show tents collecting signatures from us to hand in to their councillor, they werent from the show, just local ladies that love the event and hate to see how their tax money is being wasted

even the plod that stopped me "for a chat" agreed it was a waste of time and resources.
